In short

How we send your order, how long it usually takes, what it costs, how to collect from the shop, and exactly how to return something if you change your mind or if something is wrong. Delivery is free in Ireland over €75, Click & Collect is always free, and you have 14 days to cancel an online order — with a clear explanation of the made-to-measure and alteration exception.

Where we deliver

We deliver throughout Ireland, to the United Kingdom, and to the rest of the European Union. We use An Post and DPD. Which one we use depends on the size, weight and value of your parcel and on where it is going — both are fully tracked.

If you are outside these areas and would like to order, contact us on WhatsApp or by email and we will see what we can arrange.

Delivery options and what they cost

  • Standard delivery in Ireland — free on orders over €75. Below €75 the charge is shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Tracked courier delivery in Ireland with DPD — used for larger or heavier parcels, and for orders where you would like to redirect or reschedule the delivery through the DPD app.
  • Click & Collect from our shop at Nimra Halal Foods, 89/90 Parnell Street, Dublin 1, D01 K302 — always free.
  • United Kingdom and European Union — priced by weight and destination at checkout, and shown before you pay.

How long delivery usually takes

These are the carriers' own published standards, plus the time we need to prepare your order. They are estimates, not guarantees.

  • Within Ireland: An Post's published standard for national delivery is the next working day after posting. DPD courier deliveries are typically next working day too.
  • United Kingdom and European Union: An Post's published standard for international delivery is 3 to 7 working days.
  • Made-to-measure, bespoke and alteration work takes longer, because the work has to be done before the parcel can go anywhere. We will tell you the expected timescale when we accept your order, and we will keep you updated if anything changes.
  • Weddings and events: tell us your date when you order. If you need something by a fixed date, say so clearly and we will confirm in writing whether we can meet it.

Note

Occasionally a carrier is delayed by weather, strikes or a backlog. If your parcel is late, contact us and we will chase it. Under section 36 of the Consumer Rights Act 2022, unless we agree another date with you, goods must be delivered within 30 days of the contract being made.

Click & Collect from Parnell Street

Choose Click & Collect at checkout and pick your order up from Faiza's Boutique inside Nimra Halal Foods, 89/90 Parnell Street, Dublin 1, D01 K302. It is free.

We will email you, or message you on the number you gave us, as soon as your order is ready. Please wait for that message before you travel, because not everything is held in the shop.

Bring your order confirmation. For higher-value orders we may ask to see photo identification and the payment card. If someone else is collecting for you, tell us their name in advance.

If you cannot get to us within a reasonable time, contact us and we will agree another arrangement rather than cancel your order.

Your 14-day cancellation period starts on the day you take physical possession of the goods in the shop.

Note

For our current opening hours, please check the Contact page and our Google Business Profile before travelling. We do not print hours here because they can change.

Orders to the UK and the EU

European Union. There are no customs duties or import charges on orders sent from Ireland to another EU country. You pay the price shown at checkout and nothing more on delivery. VAT is included in the price you pay.

United Kingdom. Orders sent to the UK leave the European Union, so UK import VAT and, on higher-value parcels, customs duty may be charged by UK authorities before delivery. Those charges are set by the UK, not by us, and they are your responsibility. If a parcel is refused or returned to us because charges were not paid, we will refund the price of the goods but not the original postage, and we may deduct any return cost we are charged.

Consumer rights abroad. If you live in the EU or the UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in. Nothing in our terms reduces those rights.

Changing your mind: the 14-day window

If you bought online, by phone, by email or by WhatsApp, you can cancel within 14 days without giving a reason. This is your right under section 112 of the Consumer Rights Act 2022.

The 14 days starts on the day you, or somebody you nominate, takes physical possession of the goods. If your order is delivered in separate parcels, it starts on the day you receive the last parcel. If an order consists of several lots or pieces, it starts when you receive the last one.

You must tell us you are cancelling before the 14 days run out. You do not need a reason and you do not need a special form. An email saying you want to cancel, with your order number, is enough. You can also use the model cancellation form in our Terms and Conditions. Keep a copy of what you sent.

You then have a further 14 days, from the day you told us, to send the goods back to us or hand them over to us.

How to start a return

It takes one message. Here is the whole process.

  • Tell us you are cancelling. Email Faizaboutique110@gmail.com, or message us on WhatsApp on 089 950 8906, within 14 days of receiving the goods. Include your order number, what you are returning, and why if you would like to.
  • We will reply with a written acknowledgement and the return address, so you have everything on record.
  • Pack the item safely, with any tags, labels, dust bags, boxes and accessories that came with it. Include a note with your order number and name inside the parcel.
  • Send it back within 14 days of telling us. Use a tracked service and keep the receipt. If the parcel goes missing on the way back and there is no tracking, we cannot refund you.
  • We will confirm when it arrives and process your refund.

Note

Return address: Faiza's Boutique, Nimra Halal Foods, 89/90 Parnell Street, Dublin 1, D01 K302, Ireland. You are welcome to bring a return into the shop in person during opening hours instead of posting it — that counts as handing it over to us.

What condition the goods need to be in

You are entitled to inspect and try on an item in the same way you would in a shop. Unpack it, hold it up, try it on. That is expected and it will not cost you anything.

Please do not wear an item out, wash it, dry-clean it, alter it, or remove security tags, and please return it with its original packaging, tags and any accessories. If an item has been handled more than was necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, we may deduct the diminished value from your refund. This comes from section 118 of the Consumer Rights Act 2022.

If we make a deduction, we will always tell you that we are making one, how much it is, and how we worked it out. If you disagree, tell us and we will look at it again. You can also complain to the CCPC.

For hygiene reasons, and as the law allows, we cannot accept returns of items that were sealed and that you unsealed after delivery where they are not suitable for return on health protection or hygiene grounds.

When you get your money back

We refund all payments we received from you, including the standard delivery charge, without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of the day you told us you were cancelling. This timing is set by section 117 of the Consumer Rights Act 2022.

We refund by the same method you used to pay, unless you expressly agree to something else. You will never be charged a fee for a refund.

There is one exception to the timing. We may hold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you give us evidence that you have sent them — whichever happens first. In practice we usually refund as soon as the parcel is scanned back to us.

If you chose an express or upgraded delivery, we refund the cost of the cheapest standard delivery we offer, not the extra you paid for the faster option.

Faulty goods are different and better for you: where an item is faulty or not as described and you terminate the contract, we refund the price you paid and any costs you incurred returning it, within 14 days of receiving the goods back or of you giving us evidence that you sent them. See the Terms and Conditions for the full picture of your remedies, including repair and replacement.

Who pays return postage

  • If you are cancelling because you changed your mind: you pay the direct cost of returning the goods, unless we have agreed to cover it. This is the default position under section 118 of the Consumer Rights Act 2022, and we are telling you now so there is no surprise later.
  • If the item is faulty, not as described, or not what you ordered: we pay. Where you terminate the contract for a faulty item, section 30 of the Act entitles you to be reimbursed for the costs you incurred returning it. Keep your postage receipt and send us a copy.
  • If we sent the wrong item, or the parcel arrived damaged: we pay, and we will arrange collection where that is practical.
  • If we failed to tell you that you would bear the cost of return, we cannot charge you for it. We have told you above, so this does not arise — but it is the rule.
  • Bringing a return into the shop yourself is free, and it is often the quickest option.

What cannot be returned

A short list of things sit outside the 14-day change-of-mind right. The full list is in section 111 of the Consumer Rights Act 2022.

  • Made-to-measure and bespoke garments. If we made it to your measurements or to your choices of fabric, cut, colour or design, it was made for you and cannot be resold, so there is no right to cancel it for a change of mind.
  • Clearly personalised items, such as a garment with a name embroidered on it.
  • Items we have altered for you at your request, such as a stock garment taken in or shortened to fit you. Once the alteration you asked for has been carried out, that garment sits within the same exception, because it has been altered to your requirements and is no longer saleable to anyone else.
  • Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
  • Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, where you unsealed them after delivery.
  • Items that have become inseparably mixed with other items after delivery.

Note

An exception only ever removes the change-of-mind right. It never removes your rights if something is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose. If we made or altered a garment and it is wrong, we fix it at our own cost.

A note about alterations

Many of our customers have an outfit altered to fit properly, and it is one of the things we do best. Please just be aware of how it affects returns before you ask us to start.

If you bring us your own garment to alter: you are buying a service. If you cancel before we finish, you can — and we may charge a reasonable amount for the work already done and for anything we have bought in. Once we have fully carried out the work, and provided you asked us to start and acknowledged that the cancellation right would end when it was done, there is nothing left to cancel.

If you buy a garment from us and ask us to alter it: our position is that once the alteration you asked for has been carried out, that garment cannot be cancelled for a change of mind, because it has been altered to your requirements. The rest of your order is unaffected — if you bought a made-to-measure outfit and a handbag together, the handbag keeps its full 14-day right.

If you have any doubt about whether an item will be returnable, ask us before you order or before we start work, and we will confirm it in writing. We would much rather answer the question up front than argue about it later.

If we alter a garment and the alteration itself is not right, that is different: bring it back and we will put it right.

  • [COMPANY NUMBER TO BE CONFIRMED]
  • [VAT NUMBER TO BE CONFIRMED]

Tell us first. Email Faizaboutique110@gmail.com or call or message 089 950 8906 with your order number and what has happened. We will sort it out.

Your parcel is our responsibility until you, or somebody you nominate, takes physical possession of it. If it is lost or damaged in transit, we will replace it or refund you. We will deal with the carrier, not you.

If we cannot reach an agreement, the complaints section of our Terms and Conditions sets out the routes open to you, including the CCPC consumer helpline on (01) 402 5555 and the small claims procedure for claims up to €2,000.

Note

Owner action required before launch: the company registration number and VAT number are not yet known and must be inserted where you see [COMPANY NUMBER TO BE CONFIRMED] and [VAT NUMBER TO BE CONFIRMED] in the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
